2nd Assistant Superintendent 

JOB OVERVIEW

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan
Duration: Full-time, year round
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + benefits package

2026 brings an exciting year to the club as we prepare to host the 2026 Canadian Junior Boys Championship.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and self-motivated individual. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Turf Care department. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent

  • Assists with training and supervising on all daily golf course operations

  • Assist with applications of fertilizers, chemicals, and all cultural practices

  • Produce records of all fertilizer and chemical applications

  • Repair and improve irrigation system alongside irrigation technician

  • Operate skid steer, tractors, and other light equipment

  • Supervise small labor forces for special projects 

  • Supervise weekend crews

  • Maintain winter trails and activities (Skating rinks, ski trails, walking trails)                                 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess strong leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills

  • A Turfgrass Management Degree or Diploma or in the process of

  • Basic knowledge regarding the application of granular and liquid fertilizer and chemicals

  • Basic knowledge in irrigation repairs and troubleshooting

  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License

  • Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Pesticide Applicators License or be willing to attain one
